Empowering the Next Generation of Engineers

India’s technology landscape is evolving rapidly, and the demand for skilled embedded systems developers has never been higher. To meet this need, QNX, in collaboration with Pi Square Technologies, launched the QNX Everywhere in Education for India initiative earlier this year. A dramatic success, this program has seen engagement across India.

Scaling Skills for Industry

The program integrates QNX’s foundational software and tools into engineering curricula at select institutions, giving students hands-on experience in embedded systems development. These skills prepare graduates to tackle real-world challenges in industries such as automotive, robotics, medical devices, rail, and industrial automation.

The impact so far has been significant:

  • 88 institutions engaged across India
  • Nearly 4,000 students are participating in QNX-based training
  • Faculty development programs ensuring sustainability over multiple years

Pi Square has been instrumental in training faculty members, enabling them to deliver QNX-focused courses and labs that align with global industry standards. Pi Square posts more program details and up-to-date results of the initiative on its website.

Driving Student Readiness

For employers, this initiative creates a pipeline of QNX-knowledgeable engineers who are job-ready from day one. By using QNX technology in academic programs, students graduate with practical expertise that prepares them for industry positions and accelerates innovation in safety-critical and high-assurance systems.
