Advancing Industrial Automation and Robotics
The journey to fully autonomous and smart factories has historically been complex, requiring precise control and factory-floor robustness. This year, we are bringing real-time performance and precision to life with a live demonstration of Kawada Robotics' NEXTAGE, in collaboration with ERT Solutions. Operating on the QNX Software Development Platform (SDP), this demo features dual-arm coordination and camera-based vision tasks to pick and transfer objects in a continuous loop. It is a perfect example of how QNX delivers the deterministic control required for modern industrial automation.
Furthermore, we are visualizing the future of manufacturing with our Digital Factory Automation and Virtual Prototyping showcase. By displaying a virtual factory environment that prototypes robotic applications in real time, we are highlighting how manufacturers can use digital twins to iterate quickly. Customers can deploy highly deterministic, safe, and secure industrial solutions efficiently without compromising performance.
Empowering the Developer Community
Innovation doesn't happen in a vacuum; it requires a thriving ecosystem of creators with access to the right tools. With QNX Everywhere, we are lowering the barrier to entry and empowering developers to prototype quickly using the open-source tools and workflows they already know. Attendees can get hands-on with our Baby Robotic Arm demo running on a Raspberry Pi. By supporting familiar frameworks like ROS 2 and Python, this station proves that commercial-grade reliability is highly accessible on cost-effective hardware for students and innovators alike.
We are also showcasing a Seamless Developer Desktop Experience that bridges the gap between Linux workflows and embedded targets. Engineers can see how easy it is to develop, build, and run on a self-hosted environment using familiar open-source tools, eliminating cross-compiling complications and accelerating prototyping from day one.
Taming Complexity with Scalable Platforms
To address the growing demands of modern software-defined architectures, we are highlighting the QNX General Embedded Development Platform (GEDP). Designed as a proven foundation for mission-critical systems, the platform scales securely and reliably from SoC to the cloud, leveraging more than four decades of expertise in safety-critical industries.
True 'Shift Left' Prototyping from Cloud to Production
While industrial innovation is a major focus, our automotive DNA remains on full display. We are demonstrating the seamless transition from cloud simulation to production reality with QNX Cabin. Visitors can experience true "shift left" capabilities, allowing developers to prototype and validate systems early using AWS and dSPACE tools. Emphasizing its versatility, the solution will be shown running on industry-leading Qualcomm SoCs, featuring 14 concurrent displays and advanced sensor fusion to power the next generation of integrated automotive experiences.
