Accelerating the Automotive Evolution
The journey to the fully software-defined vehicle has historically been complex, often slowed by integration challenges. This year, we are tackling that complexity head-on with the Foundational Vehicle Software Platform (FVSP).
Developed in collaboration with Vector, this performance-optimized platform represents a significant shift in how automakers approach development. By combining the proven real-time capabilities of the QNX OS and virtualization technologies with Vector’s industry-standard middleware, we are streamlining the integration process. The result? Automakers can stop worrying about the "plumbing" and start focusing on what truly matters: delivering innovative, brand-defining applications to drivers faster than ever.
The Ultimate Digital Cockpit Experience
The interior of the vehicle is rapidly becoming a canvas for digital innovation. At CES 2026, we are bringing this to life with immersive demonstrations of QNX® Cabin and QNX® Sound.
We are showcasing QNX Cabin running on QNX® Software Development Platform (SDP) 8.0 across multiple hardware targets, including SoCs from Qualcomm, MediaTek, and AMD. Cloud-first development via a collaboration with hyperscalers like AWS and on-premise providers such as Ampere allows developers to “shift left” and develop digital cockpits in the cloud quickly, flexibly, and efficiently.
Furthermore, visitors can step inside a custom-built Hyundai IONIQ 6 to experience the future of in-vehicle audio. Featuring a Bose concept sound system with Dolby Atmos playback, this demo illustrates the power of a software-defined audio architecture. See how QNX Sound enables OEMs to centralize signal processing, reduce hardware weight, and deliver quality listening experiences for every passenger.
Empowering the Developer Community
Innovation doesn't happen in a vacuum; it requires a thriving ecosystem of creators. Building on last year’s momentum, the QNX® Everywhere zone highlights our commitment to expanding global developer access to QNX technology. We are showcasing the latest progress in our academic collaborations and our initiatives to nurture the next generation of embedded talent. To see this technology in action, attendees can interact with a mini robotic arm, a fun, gamified demonstration of how accessible and powerful QNX tools have become for the open-source and developer communities.
Celebrating Innovation: MotorTrend SDV Awards
Innovation deserves recognition. We are proud to partner with MotorTrend to present the MotorTrend SDV Innovator Awardswith Vector. These awards celebrate the outstanding individuals who are redefining how vehicles are designed, built, and experienced. It is a testament to our shared commitment to advancing the future of software-defined vehicles.
Beyond the Road: Mission-Critical Systems
While automotive innovation is our DNA, the reliability of QNX software extends far beyond the highway. In our Mission-Critical Industries zone, we are highlighting how our technology powers the systems where failure is not an option. From a surgical robotic arm that is redefining medical precision to advanced industrial automation systems and humanoids that can "see," these real-world examples prove that whether it's saving lives in an operating room or managing complex industrial processes, trust is the common denominator.
