Standards Compliance
POSIX Compliance:
The QNX® Neutrino® Real-Time OS is 100% POSIX-compliant and conforms to the POSIX PSE52 Realtime Controller 1003.13-2003 system product standard. It uses standard development tools, such as the GNU Compiler Collection (gcc), so UNIX and LINUX programs can be easily ported.
Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL):
QNX has been evaluated by the Canadian Common Criteria Scheme and deemed compliant with EAL 4+ Common Criteria Assurance Level requirements.
FIPS 140-2:
BlackBerry® Certicom® provides a shared object module library that lets developers take advantage of the BlackBerry Certicom Security Builder GSE FIPS validated cryptographic libraries—so you can offer your customers solutions with FIPS 140‐2 security‐certified technology on a proven RTOS foundation.
Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX®):
The Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) is a standard for information security evaluation and exchange in the automotive sector, created by the German Association of the Automotive Industry.
